June is here! Finally it seems that summer is coming our way!
Some of you have already visited their cottages while others are still waiting patiently. Considering what we heard in the news, we are lucky since, even if, our water level is very high everything seems under control. Please check our Facebook page for the latest update to make sure.

OUR FISHING TOURNAMENT
YES… Mark, Joël, Chris, Gilles and Ray are still organizing our first FISHING TOURNAMENT
RESERVE YOUR DATE: SATURDAY, July the 8th!
Time: 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Species: Small-mouth Bass (Achigan à petites bouches)
Tournament Rules:
- Total of 5 largest fish in weight
- Can only have 5 bass in livewell per boat. Can have 5 in the morning during weigh in at 12:00pm-1:00pm. Can have 5 in the afternoon for weigh in at 6:30pm.
- Minimum 1lb
- Must be alive
- Must have a livewell
- Catch and Release (after weigh ins)
Weigh-ins Times: 12:00-13:00 and 18:30 (tournament ends)
Location: Small Sand Bar
Buy in: By boat ± $30 :
3 Cash Prize to be determined according to inscriptions.
The tournament is for the association members, families/friends. We thought 10 boats or so, but need to see how many would be interested. FISH ON!.
ALL the final details and costs at our next general assembly the 17th of June.

OUR GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Our AGM will be on the 17th of June from 10 AM till noon at the Community Hall (beside the municipal garage) at 10 rue du Centre (behind the municipal administrative and garage).
Be there, your voice must be heard! Participate in our decisions for the coming year.YES, there will be coffee and pastries for you.

RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND RECRUITING
Yes, we have to be honnest! We prosper from your membership fees! The more we are, better are the services done by our ASSOCIATION.
BETTER safety on our lake because of our volonteers to take care of our safety buoys. BETTER social activities for our members. BETTER surveillance of the quality of our water in our lake.
Our membership fees are low considering what we give you in return.

Concerning Newton Bay:
It now official. The municipality of LSM will go forward with the reconstruction of Montée Jean-Marc. A professionnal will be hired soon to evaluate the costs of straightening of this road.
It is also official that the municipality of LSM will install before this autumn, the new road signs for: TransOutaouais, ch de la Solitude et Montée Jean-Marc and also complete installing the remaining 50km road signs on Grand Poisson Blanc Rd.
