Islands Watchdog Committee

This is our sign posted on our sites. The coordinator for this committee is Ray Thibodeau. You can reach via our Facebook page or threw us at: lacpoissonblanc@xplornet.com

A great way to educate your kids or friends to be aware of our actions and there consequences on nature! This is a environmental project in cooperation with the Regional Park and the «Base de plein-air AIR-EAU-BOIS» and not a permanent reservation for a camping site !

Your commitment is to visit the site you have chosen once or twice a month to see if there is a problem of any kind. WE give you garbage bags to clean up a camping site, if any, that you dispose in a garbage bin. You should bring a shovel to bury «excrement» if any. Look for any tree cutting or mischievous behaviour and report it if any.

Our adopted sites are in ORANGE. Please do not expand the site nor encourage new comers to exploit these sites.

In 2019, these sites were adopted:

  • Site # 1: Jean & Denise
  • Site # 2: Ray
  • Site # 3: Ray
  • Site # 4: Fraser & Leslie
  • Site # 5: ?
  • Site # 6: ? NO CAMPING SIGN
  • Site # 7: ?
  • Site # 8: ?
  • Site # 9: ?
